Hey Babbs, I was reading the posts after the Stageit show when Patti was online, and you mentioned you were planning on meeting up with her and hopefully Haley at the Halloween party. Are you going?

I live near Wheeling,Il, where Haley is from. Her parents play in a band together called Midnight. (her dad is in like 5 different bands) The band is playing this Saturday at PS Pub in Wheeling for Halloween. Ive seen them before and they are so good. They play all the best music from the 60s and 70s. Haley's dad always gets up on a chair or table in the middle of one of his sets and just wails on his guitar. He is great!! Her mom is the singer for the band. Wouldn't it be crazy fun if Haley showed up there???? I kind of feel that she is too busy and doubt she will be there, but ya never know...... Im definitely going, and Himm2 said he was going too. I just gotta get my haleyween costume together!!! HAha and charge up my camera just in case.....

Ya know, I just have to say, I started seeing Harry and Patti in their bands after seeing Haley on AI. And I am so glad that I have met them. As we have said before, they are so nice and friendly to everyone. I have also met several of their friends and the whole atmosphere is very friendly at all their "gigs'. I am a fan for life not just for Haley, but for her parents too!!

Too cool. I've watched some clips in the past of her parents band, must be good to see them live. Love their style of music, and they're very talented too.
I see where Haley gets it from. Hope you and Himm2 have a great time! And, like Midnight asked, have you met them before? I travel to Chicago now and then on business, usually stay in the Elk Grove Village area. Used to have a customer in Wheeling, Superior Circuits. I like it there, always things to do and good food.

I have been going to see Harry in his twosome, "Harry and Peter Project" monthly for over a year now. Have talked to Harry and Patti several times, but they dont know me like they Himm2. He's like part of their family now. I think Patti sees me like a "fan". I got a chance to really talk with Harry at the Akoo video shoot, and when Casey Abrams sang at Rosemont Il in July. the first time I met patti, her band was on break, and she came and sat at the bar for like 20 minutes with my friend and I. Then she gave us both a hug before going back to sing.
It's very easy to like that family!!

Yanni, if you ever come to chicago, let me know, and Ill see if the band is playing. Haley's dad plays every tuesday, and then every like 3rd and 4th friday and saturday. Im on their email list. You would love it.

That's awesome, maybe you'll be part of the family soon too. I haven't seen Casey yet, although I did buy his CD and like the music.

Shoshanna Bean was the act that came on after Haley at Room 5, although I didn't catch any of it.

AH Harry is a band hopper I thought midnight was his one and only gig .BTY happy for John he's getting lots of Guitar time.
