Yesterday a new song credit for Haley was posted. Co-writers were Chris DeStefano and Mike Daly. The latter worked as a producer on Grace Potter's second album (her first with a major label).

That could make for another incredible (in a different direction) album.

I like Haley's abstract lyrics a lot better. Grace's are growing on me but they're a bit clumsy for me in the "filler" songs... I might call 5 or 6 out of the 12 (edit) 10 on Nothing but the Water a bit more "filler".. but like I said they're growing on me.

Somehow I connect immediately and understand things like: "follow me, I'm right be behind you" and:
"Can't see the halos, can't feel their wings flow, But I've got faith that the angels will sing"


edit... duh, nothing but the water was her second almbum.. just a new one for me lol.. maybP.S. going to order that Second Grace Potter album referenced in those quotes right away.

Walking on heaven should have been released, you talk about abstract but put in context the words say the message.

Well I watched and Orianthi was honestly the only highlight for me. The kids tried but they just can't rock. The reviews by the bloggers are overwhelmingly negative and the ratings have dropped from last week, yet again.

Not a great night on Idol.Candice powered her way through The Stones song but I thought it was a pretty uninspired song choice.Everyone basically sounded out of their element just like alot of them did on Beatles night. Kree might have gotten a rise from the judges for Piece Of My Heart but to my ears it falls pretty far short from what Haley did with the song.

All I know is I was completely disgusted by what Lazaro was showing off in his duet with Angela.... I was completely embarrassed for her. Lazaro apparently has no self respect and there is no limit to the depth he will go to, to embarrass himself.

I have gone from mildly annoyed by the guy to complete and utter disgust with him, from his cockiness, to his lack of embarrassment for the debacle he's made of a chance that many would die for, to pulling that stunt in his pants.... Disgusting

I thought Orianthi was bored most of the time, and she had a right to be ... one the best performances of "Rock Night" was done by Janelle, countrifying a Billy Joel song ....wtf?

(With the stunts he's been pulling I would not be at all surprised if it was yet another 'gimmick')

Bottom line, TPTB are to blame if it turns out Laz is a complete fraud, a shame that he is turning an institution that has produced some great real talent to a joke, a sham

I would not be surprised if they end up cancelling the entire Idol tour prematurely due to disinterest.....
(although there would be some satisfaction seeing video of this sham artist being booed off the stage )
