I paid for hosting a year in advance 11 months ago. I need to decide whether to find another host for HaleyFans and my personal site or see if changing servers will help. Honestly, I'm inclined to find another host other than it would be a pain in the ass to move everything.

It's a tough call, but lately the site has been somewhat unreliable.

Three things:

1. What is their attitude and performance when responding to your requests for a more stable platform?
2. Are there alternative sites that will improve the performance and more options...if you make a move it should have a bigger upside, not just a lateral move.
3. WWHD...what would Haley do? Excellence is something we should all strive for...might be Haley's response...but I am way out of line speaking on behalf of The Queen

It continues to be slow and erratic right now.

I got to admit it's getting better

I wonder if as the new single approaches hit count is affecting the site.

No. It's not that busy. But the site is on shared hosting so there could be hundreds of other sites on the same server and one or more of those could lead to problems.
