The Tattoo thing bothers me...
I mean, like, why not temporary tatoos that last a month or so and can bee changed with some acetone (nail polish remover) sooner if people want?
I'm not against adornment or fashion statements...but fashions change.
Body disfigurement fitting your mood at a given time and place in your life is nuts.
I guess I'm ok with a permanent memento type emblem on a calf or something... especially if it marked some life period of significance like service in a military unit. A sign of serious fidelity of a significant nature...
.. my grandmother had a tiny weensy tattoo on her finger that was hidden by her wedding band as a symbol of having visited holy Jerusalem.
I just don't get why someone would want permanent decorations for decoration sake....
would they commit to wearing the same clothing everyday for the rest of their lives?
