Morgalien Shindig #1 is tonight in Milwaukee. Harry, Patti, Penny, Himm2 & maybe Babbs are heading up to the Coffee Shop where Morgan James will be performing in part 2 of her solo tour. I hope to have videos if Morgan & the venue lets me for anyone whose interested. Should be some great conversation in the hour and a half times two car rides up there from Wheeling.

Greg flew up to see the show with me at the Triple Door (last year I saw Casey and Jacob at the same venue)

Morgan was fabulous, a sweetheart. There was a surprise meet and greet, surprise in that I found out about it when I overheard someone talking about it to the venue host, even more so to find out that Greg and I were on the list. We got to talk to a couple of people who went to high school with Morgan (debate team) transplanted to Seattle, who told us a bit of how she was as a teenager. I think everyone there saw Morgan at St. Michelle last year. I told them they could find video of the show on my channel.

One gentleman told Morgan that he became an instant fan when he saw her perform "All About That Bass" with Haley and PMJ, to which Morgan smiled and introduced me as one of Haley's biggest fans

Morgan asked if she could take a look at any video I made before I posted it... I got some access to some better audio than would've been picked up from my camera. It was 'inline' audio, but they did no engineering of it, just burned me a disc so there is still a bit of ambient crowd noise which ended up working well because Morgan interacts with the audience so it's good to have some of their response, especially when she came on to sing Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer' and did a little call and response from the audience.
