On extremely well deserve Miguel recognition... that makes it easier for people new to Haley to discover this site. I've tried a number of times in the past but Google just does not seem to do much indexing of this site at all as a music site. Even with a search for "Haley Reinhart" on Google I don't see this site till the 5th page of results.

Also, Hopefully that means more new faces here and shared fan expertise here(there already has been a nice influx in the last few months prior to Miguel's recognition!).

Related to that... I wonder if Haley and/or friends have been looking in here over the years (or if they were aware of it) ... I wouldn't want Casey punching me in the nose for some less than diplomatic statement I made !

I've been disappointed in the search results as we have regularly updated content. I think part of the problem is the forum software is old and not search engine friendly. But if you search Google for "Haley Reinhart" and limit the results to the past "24 hours" the site is usually at or near the top.

This discussion from 2014 suggests Google devalued forums at the end of 2012. In 2014, they removed the ability to filter search results to only discussion forums (from the "search tools" menu).

Beyond that, part of the problem might be we have fresh posts, but they tend to be in existing threads. Maybe HF would fare better in the search rankings with more new threads.

I found that when you re categorized posts and moved them around it resulted in dead threads in a google search, like when you took some posts out of their threads and put them into "live performances" made it rough to research past posts.

Miguel, it made me smile when I saw that you were the next HOTM. With all that you have done to help promote Haley, including providing a most excellent forum where Haliens can come together and share their opinions and experiences, pictures and vids, on our Haley journey, you certainly deserve the honor. Congrats and again, well deserved. I remember way back in the day before I had joined HF, I would find all of my Haley info through google, which pretty much always sent me to HF. Every time I tried to sign up, registration was closed. I finally sent you an email asking you if you will be re-opening registration anytime soon. I don't know if you remember that or what your reply to me was, but it cracked me up and still does. Thanks again my friend for all that you do to help out Haley and us Haliens.

Kristy was one of the Haliens I met in London at the VIP, videod and took pictures of her meeting w/ Haley ....very sweet girl

Love it! I was thinking that it would be great if they next chose a true overseas Halien to show off her international appeal, there are lots. Good choice they made (Asia and Middle East up next!!)! I love it that these interviews are so long, not short and squeezed, so that there's space for the story to live and become visible - so enjoyable! Good move, and great read!!

Awesome. That her support is so international has always been impressive!

Was Better released with different artwork outside the united states? (the single rose shown). My digital copy has the "bouquet of a flowery hair" (or however one might describe it.. seen on the tour promotion t-shirts etc) .

I don't think I got a "hard copy" this time.. I don't really remember...perhaps this was the inside art on all copies?

It's the inside art work in Kristina's photo, Better's cover is the one of Haley with the Flowers in her hair, there's no alternate cover

I hadn't thought about Kristina getting HOTM as an International Halien representative, and would make sense, and yes there are quite a few which I was made aware of on my trip to Europe to see Haley's tour (Met and talked to at least 5 at each stop who wanted to talk about Haley or my videos of Haley). That is the magic of Youtube. Considering how much promotion Haley and the businesses that have represented her have done, I think other that American Idol, Youtube has shown itself to be an effective tool to reach beyond to fans who may discover and like your music.

Many of the videos I've posted on my site are thanks to International Haliens who have reached out and gladly shared their videos for me to edit and post, Lyca & OZHaleyfan from Australia, XAtLantic & chpmem from Germany, Harry from Paris, Jamie from the UK and most recently Ville from Denmark....

I think about how often we see fans in the US bemoaning about opportunities to see Haley perform, can you imagine how fans outside of the US must feel? How incredible it was for them to find out that she is coming to perform near them? I'm glad I decided to make that trip, talk to fans from other countries, feel the joy of experiencing Haley performing live for them, something most didn't dare to think was possible

International Haliens should be recognised as they're the 'feet on the ground' to spread the word about Haley in their respective countries
