Considering over 110 finalists during the history of the show, Haley is selected in the Top 10 by LA Times Music Blog, quite the recognition...now if they can only get her played on the radio in LA.
AI Top Ten Lists (MJs, YM, LA Times) - Tusk - 06-12-2012
MJS put up a list of favorite performance from each season to mark the 10th anniversary of AI.
MJS Top AI performances from each of the last 10 seasons
As you might know, MJ is, at best, barely responsive to Haley to the point of almost dismissive (beyond posting news on Haley when it happens). She posted Casey's "Your Song" as her favorite from S10.
It did my Halien heart good to see so many of the comments list Haley and her songs as their best for S10. Haley by far had the most votes for best performance of that season (as well as posts wondering where Haley was on the list) Which had MJ conceding,

^^^ I like Casey Abrams and I loved his American Idol Top 11 performance of "Your Song". But "Favorite of the Season"? Not even close! I liked at least a 1/2 dozen of Haley's performances way more. Overall and all things considered, "I Who Have Nothing" is my personal favorite.

I agree MJ is dismissive of Haley but it is her site and if that is how she feels oh well. I did enjoy the selections of quite a few that chose House of the Rising Sun as a S10 favorite. Harry loved when she did that song "garage songs of all garage songs". I have to admit I was a little surprised that so many on her blog named Haley as S10 fav

She just seems to 'tolerate' Haley talk, even the disparaging comments, which she would not allow if another 'unmentioned' Idol were the subject. I've seen very mean spirited Haley remarks survive on that blog, when the same remarks about others are quickly deleted and warned about.
I guess the point is, that Haley, during her AI run, gave everybody something to enjoy with her diversity. That she was even able to catch the notice of "non fans" or "jaded Idol viewers" with "Moanin'" spoke to her moxy and talent.
It was a gamble to perform "Moanin'", make no mistake, and Haley and Casey nailed it, big time.

Lyndsey Parker of Yahoo! Music picks her Top 10. Haley's HOTRS is one of fifteen "very honorable mentions"

Moanin in MHO was an absolute "moment. She had quite a few "moments" on the show - I am a huge fan It was my first year watching the show. Haley did what she had to and her mission was accomplished :angel

I was surprised by how many comments on MJ's listed Haley's performances as the best from S10...and the variety of performances. HOTRS, Bennie, IWHN, You and I, Moanin, RITD, WIWSNB, Blue...all were referenced more than once. She had more moments than anyone that season.
Where were all the Scotty fans...hardly any mentions of his performances as most memorable for S10. Maybe cute boy fans are more musically detached?
