Funny as a long time Seattlite, and a young man during the "Grunge Era", I never could get into Pearl Jam...Loved Nirvana, Soundgarden and Alice In Chains, but Pearl Jam? Not so much....Ironic they are the band of them all that's still around.
They are like U2 or the Who to me. I acknowledge they are good, but personally I don't connect with their songs....

)Callie...I liked "Being Alone" better than the first. It has an attitude to it missing from "Zen Garden". I'm the kind of music lover that doesn't do well with "over word"y songs, to the point where the music is secondary, and that's what I felt with "Zen Garden".
I like music I connect with emotionally and melodically, moreso than 'message' songs
(hmmm...now that I say that...maybe why I don't care for U2 or Pearl Jam songs much....

Thank you T-Man. And you know me, I rarely take such things personal, or even care. But there have been multiple stompings and complaints lately (not from you, you are most always thoughtful and sweet). And not only in the posts I've been involved in, others as well. IMHO, Sometimes it's just polite to let the paint dry for a minute before putting on another layer.
Comments are great and thanks are nice, but neither are part of the motivation for me. It's the complaints and stomping that I find deflating. I wonder if people realize how many bad videos we watch to find things that will hopefully be enjoyable for others.
