Baby It's Cold in the Holiday Parade! PLUS the Car Show on Sunday - Himm2 - 11-23-2013
I'll have the video I shot this morning with Haley riding in the Bucket of a Fire Engine with Harry staying warm inside the Cockpit up soon. It was 26 degrees but Haley looked like she was glowing on fire in her white fur!

Nov. 23rd 2013. Haley's back in her hometown for her Jazz performance with Irvin Mayfield & NOJO at Chicago Theatre and other events including this Wilmette parade. No Casey Abrams this time to keep her warm singing Baby It's Cold Outside - 26 degrees!! After I passed by the Fire Truck Haley saw me before I saw her. It would have been appropriate if she yelled out "Follow Me...I'm Right Behind You!!" We had other mini-conversations that I didn't record...just these little snipets.

Looks like fun! Wilmette is too far for me but Im happy you were able to go!!
Btw, on 11/19 was my 2yr mark of meeting Haley and Casey for the 1st time!

Its funny how my hair changed color within a few minutes for those pictures....started off reddish brown (met Casey first), and then turned light brown. Maybe it was just the lighting/flash

For any length of time with only you as a parade watcher? (Please tell me your vid is taken either before they've really gotten into the main route of the parade or after it.) In 26 degree weather? Yikes!

^^ That was in the heart of the parade and there were about 2 dozen people per block for the 6 blocks that I tagged along with Haley's Hook & Ladder...a far cry from the McDonald's Thanksgiving Day Parade that Haley was interviewed on TV on a float in last year with Patti in the Car. I was sandwiched in a mass of people 6 rows deep all along that parade route.

That's sad to hear. I hope that it's because it was too cold, that people chose not to come. Otherwise, it's a lot of effort without much reason to continue.
I hope those who did brave the cold appreciated those who were in the parade.

No Miguel - They must have had some Hot CoCoa party or something at the end which I didn't stay for but I would guess she was only in the Bucket outside for about a half hour because the parade route was only about 12 blocks long.
