TIPS

Just curious---what / why was it called an album showcase? Do you think there were some industry heavy hitters there from radio, Sirius, etc???? Booking agents for late night TV?

I don't know if there were any industry heavy hitters in attendance, but I imagine the intent is to get some behind-the-scenes buzz going. I would think media people in addition to "industry folk."

Most likely they would get a copy of the album. Or would they not in a world of digital copying? Maybe a live premiere is done to keep the music under wraps? Maybe in this day and age they would have a private streaming site?
