Sounds like they're putting together a crew to promote her new single and, if all goes well, go on tour. I wonder if he has been rehearsing the single in preparation for this audition and believes it has a funky soul sound (edit: nope, see end of this post).
MD = Musical Director, I suppose. Sounds like an important position but he doesn't appear to have many professional credits to his name.

Played some classics. I hope it's classic rock. WWW.korthaus.com I hope they get the gig it sounds to me like this website really does a lot to help new and upcoming artists. I just wonder if Haley is management company orchestrated all this on her behalf. It seems very beneficial on her behalf.

That's their marketing spin in trying to lure new artists. But I think in this case they have to prove their chops to Haley and her advisers. She already knows much of what they would teach novices. American Idol us a bit beyond this:

Lana Del Rey's tour has been postponed.
She was "slated to perform 30 dates across the country at small venues for 1,000 to 3,000 ticket holders" beginning as early as March.
Maybe they will plug Haley into that slot?

We're starting to see things progress rapidly, my question is she's auditioning for a new band, so this will be the band that will tour with her? What about the band that recorded with Haley for her new single and her album or are they out of the equation.
