Here's one of my favorite pictures from BG Days. I'll have to get on the computer and upload my video of "My cake". Can't get that song out of my head, but no complaints :-) I had a great time with all the Haliens, everyone is so freakin' nice! Haliens are too cool for school.

Just had a chance to watch "I Hear You Knocking"-another classic song that's right up her alley.Forgot to mention in my previous post that the band really rocked at this gig and I'm very impressed with Harry's guitar playing.Hats off to all who put this show together.

if you read the other thread, a band member, Peter Spero, has offered his digital audio from the show as well as video from the stage. He wants to work with us on video from the show. We exchanged info, so let's see where it goes from here
(unfortunately, that means it will take time while we figure out how we will do this, he's alot more proficient/experienced at this than I, uses more significant software than I, who really only started posting and basic editing youtubes, but what an opportunity)
I'd really like to thank everyone who has posted videos. For those of us that weren't able to be there they are a godsend. Please take your time with the new ones Tusk and Miguel. Good things come to those who wait will certainly apply in this case.
It's great to see this side of Haley, in her rock element jamming it out. Her energy and comfort level were higher than any other time I've seen her live. In her hometown area, with her family, a great audience, with a great band (Harry was killer) backing her up led to a perfect storm! I also really love the path Haley is choosing to go with her new songs My Cake and Better. Haley with a touch of attitude makes for a good recipe!

Here is a interview she did before the concert. My favorite part is when she screams about the bee since I do the same thing when any kind of bug comes near me!

I think this is one of the problems a lot of Idol contestants have had over the years. They are "solo" artists on Idol but post Idol the record companies don't provide the long standing support needed to be a true solo artist (i.e. studio musicians for an album and then touring musicians to tour with). I think Chris Daughtry figured that out early and formed a band before being signed. Worked out well for him as well as his band.
