Penny, seeing Haley perform was so worth the price of the flight and hotel!! I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Just 3 years ago, I never would have amagined traveling all over to see a singer perform. But I am and I've been having a ball doing it. My husband doesn't like to travel, (he's a real homebody) but he doesn't mind if I do. So, bring on the next adventure!
I asked Haley on Sunday if she would do the Cosmopolitan again and she said she's open to it. So maybe if she gets booked, it could be a Halien gathering with fans coming in from all over. Three nights of 3 sets each night is a real treat!
I'm so glad we mentioned that. My grandparents live in Vegas, I so wanna be there for all 3 nights next time!!!

Hanging out with Halien friends during the weekend and seeing and talking to Haley and hearing a great concert was worth every penny I spent!!With the added bonus of seeing Rachel give Haley her card, just more icing on the cake!

Thanks for giving your take on the evening. Looking at the videos Haley does seem to have extra shine and joie de vivre.
It looks like her rapport with the audience was great and she had fun with her fellow performers. She seems to really enjoy working with Ballas (as in the street video of Rock Your Body) and Dylan plays well and he pays attention and communicates with the others while playing.The show sounds like it was a great experience. Did Haley win over the audience as a whole, or mostly just the hard core Haliens?

I know Tusk had a blast hearing Haley sing at the Cosmopolitan in Vegas for all 3 nights last time she appeared there

Haley has a whole lot more fans than I thought! They're just not hardcore online like us, but the whole crowd was loving her and jamming out, people I didn't even realize who were there just for her. It was so cute watching all these people get excited to take pictures with her too!

After Ballas, Haley's was easily the most raucous audience response. I think there was a lot of support from friends, including @beatalks, @ephtco, Bonx and raemarrie (I think it was Bonx and raemarrie who were doing alot of the screaming that Haley reacted to, especially when referring to coming from Chicago)
I never looked back because I was filming, but it sounded like she had the whole room with her. I met at least 3 Haliens I didn't know who introduced themselves and said they recognised me from meeting me earlier at CityWalk, Las Vegas and at the Hard Rock Hollywood debut. They were very complimentary and excited to see Haley, I really appreciated their kind comments of support for we who give others a way to follow Haley. One guy referred to me as "Mister Tusk" even before Haley's shout out LOL, I told them please, Tusk or Anthony, no Mister LOL
More might have introduced themselves had I made it common knowledge I was coming like some of the other recent events I attended, but for whatever reason, I wanted to keep that I was going to only a few people...

There were two occasions where I headed to the back near the prep room to wait for Haley, Immediately after her set, and a second time, after Ballas' set where I told her, I didn't want to bother her, but I forgot to take a picture of her holding up the signed pic by the SMYM Haliens to send to them, is it OK if we could do that? She told me yes and she would be headed back to the room where it was being kept.
Both times, it took forever for Haley to make it back there because she kept on being intercepted by fans who would politely introduce themselves to Haley, say a few words, give a hug and a picture. What was particularly notable was with each encounter, Haley looked each fan right in the eyes and with a smile, her focus was only on the fan talking to her
I even got a fringe benefit of being around Haley's charisma, while waiting to ask Haley for a pic with the signed SMYM pic, a young woman, out of the blue, said "Here, take a picture with me"... Grabbed me by the waist swung me around, and we posed for her friend to take a picture of us.
After the pic, I turned to her "Do I know you? Do you know me?", in shock, thinking she had to be a Halien, who knew I was "Tusk". She smiled, "No, I just wanted a picture 'cause you're cute "
I'm telling you, this NEVER happens to me LOL
Anyway, forgetting to get a pic of Haley w/ the signed pic, and her taking a long time to get to the back room, ended up to leading to something that might add to the already special memory of the time we spent with Haley post show... I'm waiting for the last part of this final chapter of our Hotel Cafe adventure to play out (if it goes the way I think it might) before I can tell the tale
