RE: AMERICAN IDOL - Season ELEVEN - Tusk - 04-12-2012
Poor James, He sounded really amped in his post performance interview with Seacrest...I think that might have affected his performance a bit with all that adrenaline, I think James wanted the Idol redemption more than Haley.
Either way, he's got it out of the way and can look forward to his tour. "Higher Than Heaven" is the strongest single from his album yet
I know I'm probably being sensitive about it, but I couldn't help but notice the obvious ommision by James of which former Idol attended his wedding .....

It stuck out like a sore thumb.

Just watched the end....none of that seemed genuine...Jessica's reaction didn't seem genuine, the rest of the cast's reactions didn't seem genuine
...none of it seemed genuine...do these people even know each other?
S10's bar is set wayyy too high for these mere mortals...

Setting aside conspiracy theories for the moment, I was insulted when Randy said America got it wrong. Nigel and company have decided to keep in place decision process that puts middle school girls (so I've heard) in charge of the results with the one person - unlimited votes approach. By my reckoning that puts Colton and P2 in the finals.

I noticed that too. It seemed like a slight, but the last time he mentioned Stefano and Haley together it created a stir and he had to backtrack. So maybe he was just wary of mentioning her name.

I would laugh so hard if in the middle of James promoting his tour Ryan would whip out the ..."So....Haley and Stefano....?"
I don't think he did it on purpose, like I posted earlier, I think he was just really wired for that show, so forgot. He was probably given a set amount of time to get all that info out.

Ryan could have said: "We've going to have two groups: Stage Right and Stage Left. All the 19-21 yo white contestants stand stage right. The rest of you stand stage left." He might also have noted that the spirits of departed top 10 contestants go stage left.

Joshua looks about as enthusiastic as he did singing his Billy Joel number.

From MJ's article:
Quote:Nigel Lythgoe Calls Into TMZ: “It’s America’s Favorite Singer, Not America’s Best”
Nigel Lythgoe called into TMZ Friday, to talk about the Jessica Sanchez elimination/save and to set Harvey Levin straight about his claim that the judges knew ahead of time that Jessica got the lowest number of votes.
Nigel says he might have hinted to the panel that something big was coming and to get their save ready, but he would never reveal who was going to be eliminated or lobby them to use their save in a particular way, as Harvey’s “source” is claiming. http://www.mjsbigblog.com/nigel-lythgoe-calls-into-tmz-its-americas-favorite-singer-not-americas-best-video.htm
