RE: Haley Reinhart's funky a$$ reality project - Swansteel - 07-02-2014 What a nice surprise to come home from work and have Show Me Your Moves to download. The song is very catchy and sounds great on my Grado PS1000s. The great thing about the song is that is very repeatable. It is one of those songs that is very easy to listen to several times in a row without realizing it, just knowing I want to hear it again. Still no signed CD for me, but it should be any day now. And at least we have a definite release date for the video now! #excited RE: Haley Reinhart's funky a$$ reality project - Tusk - 07-02-2014 (07-02-2014, 10:58 PM)Miguel Wrote: The odd thing, given her recent behavior, is Haley posted this to Twitter. I think there's an aspect of "keeping it on the down low" as well as throwing her 'twitter fans' a bone after a looong absence perhaps? I wonder if Caley performing a snippet @Room5 might have accelerated this release somewhat. Almost a month until the 'official' release, she had to know that it'll get shared.... no point over analyzing, I'm just glad for the recent movement: Room5 Snippet, then CD delivery followed the next day by the mp3..... Not a bad thing at all ![]() RE: Haley Reinhart's funky a$$ reality project - XAtlantic - 07-02-2014 When the mothership writes, it writes home big time!! I had a broad smile on my face with so much Haley vibes exuding from my email! Amazing how many styles she can do. As with other artists, I often like the edgier live versions of songs better than the fully produced ones, but I totally agree with Miguel: Haley never gets me bored, I listen to her songs again and again, and again and again I'm just like: wow, this is it. Better, My Cake, SMYMs ... what a diverse trio! Let the growing of SMYM begin! As for the planes in the image: of course they didn't go there to then remove all the planes. But if they look too much like planes then it is too much 20th century rather than 22nd. They need to put the indistinguishable technical parts in - debris sounds good - rather than tail sections that look just like ... err, used planes. But what do I know! They are the experts from A to Z! I'll go with that (keeping my over-thinking in check ...) Personally I never thought just releasing something will create considerable demand, there is just too much out there. It needs something extra and some good fortunes, too, to lead to sizable downloads. I so wish it will happen! But then again, it does not necessarily have to be considerably more than a solid, substantial bridge to #2! It is a crowd-funded, funky song adventure! I have been puzzling what it needs to make a fantastic video+song gain traction, but am not sure. Probably support from a few established names would do a lot! Let the ship sail! As the mothership releases its pods, it will be a move! RE: Haley Reinhart's funky a$$ reality project - Tusk - 07-03-2014 We were told by the caretaker that some of the planes there were built there specifically for shoots, never flown, so it's not necessarily a plane graveyard of "used" planes. The storyline is it's a crash landing, Haley emerges from the debris so it's possible the damaged planes are a result of the crash site being at an airport (on the moon?) But who knows, but so far so good ![]() RE: Haley Reinhart's funky a$$ reality project - Miguel - 07-03-2014 One plane I can understand, but not several. Unless you show them all beginning to crash (like the Revolution show on ABC). That still seems like a stretch. RE: Haley Reinhart's funky a$$ reality project - Tusk - 07-03-2014 a spaceship crashing onto an airport damaging multiple planes is what I gather, don't see why it needs to be limited to one? I'm sure there'll be plenty of close ups and fast edits that will take into consideration what's in the background, (edited out?). Still mere speculation, besides, Haley will be the center of attention, where the majority of the focus will be. RE: Haley Reinhart's funky a$$ reality project - XAtlantic - 07-03-2014 (07-03-2014, 12:45 AM)Tusk Wrote: a spaceship crashing onto an airport damaging multiple planes I hadn't thought of that. That would actually be pretty cool! And the main thing of course: the heck with crashes and technology: show me your moves! We'll see ... I am totally sure it will be way different from anything I imagine. RE: Haley Reinhart's funky a$$ reality project - Himm2 - 07-03-2014 Does Haley start this song as a narrator introducing her character known as "Rhythm"? RE: Haley Reinhart's funky a$$ reality project - lovinghaleyr - 07-03-2014 Please respect this and don't post the song for the public to hear. Indeed Miguel,me too hope that ![]() ![]() ![]() Quote:Haley Reinhart @HaleyReinhart 1mOur QUEEN is really smart,if I don't be wrong she was signed at the last days of July 2011,then she drop SMYM after will be free of any chains with Interscope or 19 Entertainment. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Haley Reinhart's funky a$$ reality project - john - 07-03-2014 ![]() |
