I sometimes feel disheartened by the fact that her first single and album didn't thrive as I hope that it would but whenever I hear her songs/performances, I know that she's where she's suppose to be. I mean, what was I thinking, the music she made on her debut strayed away from the disgusting mainstream trend of bubblegum cheapness. That, for me, is courageous and that's what you call true success.

I'm not worried about Haley becoming successful, she has oodles of talent and determination. There is a steady interest in her music in a variety of outlets and the media people tend to really like her. And I can see her coming out with an even stronger album the second time around a' la Adele.
The more she gets to perform now in these smaller venues the better IMO. Her skill set is continually being developed and polished which will serve her well when she hits the bigtime. I'd love to see her do a little tour of these small clubs.

If you listen to interviews of most established performers outside the top-40 rock crowd (and maybe even there) they always seem to emphasize how important they viewed their time performing for people on their way up and in small clubs etc as essential to them forming themselves.
Haley does have a great sense of who she is already but you can't discount that kind of advice and reflection ... there is always more to grow I guess ...
