Just had a thought....
You know how they always say about LU,
"Haley wrote all the songs but one"
There was always that hole, that one song that she did not write on her debut album
Welp, two times after the Interscope split, she performed that song she 'did not write', she put her stamp on it.... "Fixing a hole".
(Yes that was a purposeful effort to use that specific Beatles reference in a point about Haley and her musical journey)

I was flipping thru channels and noticed the movie "Sandlot" was on. (my 2nd favorite baseball movie after "A League Of Their Own"). I turned it on right when Squints was faking drowning so he could get mouth to mouth from lifeguard Wendy Peffercorn (which I'm convinced was the inspiration Haley Reinhart had for her "Listen Up" Cover art).
I had forgotten that after Wendy dragged him out of the Aquatic Center, Squints looked back at H.E.R. and Wendy smiled in semi appreciation!!:

When talking with Haley, @ the Cosmo in Vegas last summer, I was about to tell her that Salt Lake City has influenced her almost as much as the Beatles; and that she just didn't know it. I refrained thinking it was to cheesy. They filmed the Sand Lot there. Last summer the cast and crew all came back for a twenty year anniversary party, held on the old diamond. Yup its still there. Maybe thats where the next Haley Shindig could be held.
It was kind of a big deal in SLC last year, the Sand Lot has quite a cult following, I just watched it again about a week ago myself.
