Tusk made a good point, and I thought the same thing. I think some weird stuff may have went down, we all knew Haley did "Jazz in ya bones" and he was supposed to release it. When it was released, it was the version without Haley on it. And ever since then things were dead with this collab.
And I must say, I'm very glad Haley went in the direction with Scott and collaborating with PMJ instead. (Not that they might have anything to do with each other), but it just feels more right that this happened instead.

I'm glad she went that direction, too. I always had mixed emotions about her involvement with Mr. Block, although looking back it gave her some experiences with a different style of music and a different music scene.
While I wasn't aware that there were expectations that the "jazz in ya bones" song was to be released with Haley singing on it, he did end up going with his original instrumental composition. He should have released one that included Haley's vocals. His comments suggested he was quite proud of the piece, so maybe that drove his thinking on the matter.
I tend to think that Haley was just too much for David to handle. He does his thing and seems to like it that way. Maybe they both realized it was just a fling, musically and perhaps otherwise.

I'm not a big fan of edm either, but Haley found a sound in that genre that works for her. I would have at the least very liked some studio versions before they parted.

Thanks maxit...I really enjoyed this. I think I would call it "zone out" music...maybe something my young cannabis friends would have on when they are chillin. I love to hear Haley's voice in this type of setting.

I agree she did find a sound in that music that was uniquely Haley, she definitely adds to the music.
