Honesty time...
After all the "hot hot baby come on" shots? With those bright oranges and reds?
This is kind of not what I was expecting with this era.
It might grow on me though like "Better" eventually did.
Would I wear this particular image on a t-shirt? No. But would I wear the first crystal ball pic? You bet!
I don't know. Sometimes the best photos are the more tame/mellow ones. But this one is very drab in color and also dark.
Not saying there isn't also a layer of mystery within here too. Because there is!
Again. It might grow on me. But for now? Anticlimatic at best. Not quite a visual letdown but certainly not Jay's version of being described as being "iconic..." At least in my non important opinion.

I'm sorry if I sounded too harsh. Re-reading my post and all.
I guess I was hoping for some orange. (Don't know why. She just looks cool with orange in the background. lol)
I am a sucker for certain visual imagery though so maybe she had a plan here?
Weren't most vinyl album covers mysterious like this one back in the 60s/70s?
Like it's not what I expected, but when you open the cover up it reveals some steamy visual imagery that you could get away with hiding behind a mystic layer?
I'm just rambling here at this point. lol
I like your shirt designs by the way. You made both visuals work. I'd wear either one, but I'm still leaning toward orange.

every one has their preference, that's why it's nice when Haley has a variety of designs to choose from like she did for WTS. The only caveat is they'd be limited issue, as we found out with the grey wts Tshirt, it seemed to be the one they printed fewest of. I think she had what? 3 WTS? Related T shirts? The Black and Yellow one, the mug shot one, which came later in the tour, and the grey WTS one.
I actually like the darker tones and hues she chose for the LFS album cover. In my opinion, it very much jives with the essence of that 'groovy' era. She went bright and flashy with Listen Up! she also went bright with WTS... I mean Let's Start is completely bright and happy.
Free is still one of her all time best videos IMO.... Listen Up! was reaaaaallly under rated for a debut album. The Free video was just the cherry on top....such a shame she was prevented from following the album and video up with a tour
Heck, Listen Up never even got it's own official T shirt.... there will be a day music historians will look back and give it the recognition as one of the all time debut albums...
