Yeah, even though MJ has recently had a more positive opinion of Haley than she used to, seems she's in a bit of a bad mood.... I posted my Irvin Mayfield/Haley "At Last" performance to counter a comment saying that they didn't feel Haley inhabits Jazz like Ella does, that she's just going through the motions without feeling it.
I believe that comment by MJ was directed at me "concert channel" after she deleted my post
She's just hot and cold, seems she's on the #GrumbleGrumble side of things today

Scott should do a promo video where he has someone with a mic getting audience comments as they exit one of his shows, along with a few show clips featuring audience reactions. It seems that people have a grand time spending the evening with "vintage jazz" at PMJ shows.

Let's face it, alot of ears nowadays want a repetitive beat accompanied by synthesized music and vocals ... that's what they've grown up w/, what they're conditioned to think is 'good music'.
I mean people pay 100's of dollars to hear pre recorded tracks, dance choreography and lip synced performances on a big screen echoing in a huge sports stadium...
I'd much prefer to spend that same money to fly to hear Haley's live vocals accompanied by musicians who love their craft...
But that's just me

The Haley video with the highest 24 hour view count is Oops, with 250K views. At 12 hours it had logged 128K views along with 9858 Likes.
At 4.25 hours out Oops had 5924 ups and 136 deafs, for an L/D ratio of 43.5. View count wasn't available. At 4.25 hours out 7NA has 62,786 views, 6951 Likes and 30 Deafs. The L/D for 7NA is an impressive 232 (but this will fall).

I've had to be a lurker as I've been busy with 2 of my grandchildren (one with Diabetes Type 1 and only 12 yr). But I follow everything and saw Haley in Toronto and have tickets for November as well.
I love all of the postings, and thank everyone who had helped to keep me up to date. SNA is exquisite and my 12 year old granddaughter can't say enough about Haley's voice. She is an Ariana Grande fan and had to ask me how old Haley is in case she's too old to like (LOL). But she said "WOW" when she saw Haley's new video today and that's enough for me. Tusk, Rachel and whoever else has submitted videos (please forgive me if I don't mention you personally)...thank you from the bottom of my heart. Been a year of losing parents and new illnesses and Haley (and all of the videos posted of concerts, etc) have made 90% of my days when nothing seems to go right. I can't thank all of you enough. Her voice truly is music to my ears and even though I know nothing about music, she has the best tone for my ears that I've heard in a long time! She's perfect pitch!!! What can I say! No screeching...just perfect. A million thanks, and this video is something else!!!Just adding that I am a Classic Rock fan and have never been into the whole jazz thing, nor has my husband. Albeit, I did love the Beatnik thing (Ricki Lee Jones). But we are evolving, thanks to Haley, and i have to say that I'm a convert because of Ms H.E.R. I still hope she dabbles in the Rock genre because she's got "it" there too, but I'm loving what she's doing at this time.
