They're keeping busy though.
Today, Keith Phelps released a video to go with his new song:
^^^ I linked to Keith's page with his single on his thread on this site

It's more urban (if that's the right description) than what we're used to from him with Haley.... I appreciate that he's expanding his repetoire, and it's kind of catchy after a few listenings
Look for his album coming out this year

"On Hiatus", huh? So there's a fair chance the hosts from Saturday's gig may have had to fly him in as well

btw, Neara is in Europe with Bridgit Mendler. She's tweeted photos from Paris and London.

SXSW description (the venue she is playing tomorrow is a church in downtown Austin):
Quote:Ginny Blackmore, a singer who writes songs so searing they hit your soul instantly. Her debut single, "Bones," written in a painful moment of her love life, drastically altered Blackmore's journey, transforming a 27-year old struggling singer and songwriter from Auckland, New Zealand, into one of Epic Records' most captivating pop newcomers. "The music is as honest as I could make it," she says. "It's my perspective on life. I really hope people can hear themselves in it somewhere. That's what I care about."

^^ Glad to see that John is picking up some gigs. I was watching that "What's Trending" video for last summer and wondering how he was getting by.

I really like Ginny Blackmore's voice! I liked her enough to go to YouTube to see more. Here is a video of the Bones song done live on a radio show with accompaniment by our very own Johnny-boy.

I wonder if she is related to Ritchie Blackmore?

Just when I think she can't sound any better....this was sooooo good!!!! gave me goosebumps! Will the rest of the world please Listen Up!!!!
Thank you CBS!!
Well, Babbsie, that's what pros can do. Given that Haley grew up with it, she's not so surprising. But I don't think Keith did, so therein lies the surprise. However, Haley, obviously, has enormous confidence in his ability to truly back her up and he doesn't seem to disappoint. She did look and sound wonderful.
But did anyone else notice those lovely little "filler" riffs that Keith did on "Keep Comin' Back"? That kid -- oops -- young man is a real find! Courtney Leonard, thank you for connecting Haley and Keith.

Keith was in band that featured his father and uncle for five years.

I wish someone had a recording of their performance of BATJ at that private party when Haley gave Keith a piano solo during that song:

Miguel, thank you for that info. It explains much. So both Haley and Keith have this in their blood!
