Wow, Dr. J., I'm honored that you think so!

As far as Interscope goes, that was just my unenlightened ego hoping that Haley shows them that sometimes it is not always about the money...
Characteristic of you, my dear Cherelann. You are far from "unenlightened ."
Haley will shine -- I think there can be no doubt about that! How that happens remains to be seen.

The Real Music Live article is the bio that was posted on Haley's website in May.

Miguel, except for the very real fact that Haley's "debut as a performer" keeps changing (I've seen a range from 5 -9), this shouldn't really be an issue. She was young -- let's keep it at that.

What keeps me hopeful for Listen Up is the fact that Adele's album was around for a year before it really started to catch on with the public. Right now it is hard for me to imagine how Haley can follow up with anything better in this genre.
Haley seems to have the respect of many of her contemporaries, so that is a big plus. There will be a tipping point & when the dust settles Haley will be looking at a bright future...
you be sure about that 100%

Tell me why Interscope will someday regret letting Hales go.

and not having the foresight to market her correctly...Haley has a strong work eithic & the talent to back it up. She will not give up unless she finds anohter dream that inspires her. That is just MHO & I am sticking with it until I decide to change it...

OK Ok thats your story and your sticking to it?This is the way I look at it if Haley was a moneymaker for Interscope they would've kept her but she didn't pull out the projected earnings they let her go simple as that. She has what it takes andI have seen this happen many times in the music industry. I have been around a little bit I know a few people that have sought their fortune only to fail because of sales. Not because of their worth ethics talent or looks they didn't give their record company their fair share. I hate this but this is the way it works. I am content that Haley has been dropped by her label in the beginning I was very annoyed, dismayed and just a little bit unsure of what the future would hold for her. One thing is that I'm glad that this site has a few fans with the maturity to understand that you got to go through hell before you get to heaven.LOL SHe will make it All hale the the Hales This is the beginning of the third chapter in the book of Haley. There is 23 more to go LOL It ain't over.Interscope is in the past .IMO

They don't deserve her. Remember, I was unplugged when the official anouncement came out so I wasn't able to get in my two cents worth of spite. Hope I am around long enough to read the 26th chapter.

The greatest artists are the ones who have to struggle a bit, at least in the beginning of their careers. The fact that Haley has to put in her dues now is a good thing for her. It will make her all the stronger in the long run. Just think if she had become an overnight success and the world was suddenly thrown at her feet. Would she appreciate it as much? Would she be able to grow and truly develop to her full potential? Who knows. Maybe. The fact remains: the surest path to growth is the one with a few bumps and unexpected turns along the way. Those with the easiest lives are usually the least interesting as well.
