^ Starting off early today, need to catch up on all the activity in Vegas. Thanks Swansteel and Tusk for all the action. It looks like a huge area she is performing in...grand lobby/bar/high traffic area? I see the signature chandelier. This is just so cool for Haley...you guys are making history right now being at this event.
Tusk, you need to get a small camera tripod for setting on the table...assume you are at tables. Take all the pressure off trying to hold it the whole time. Otherwise, you could get a rotator cuff injury...no work comp for volunteers...

^^ Oh, that was sweet. I was impressed that she changed the tempo and style so much, but she sang with conviction -- she knew where she was taking the song. Her voice sounded great. The AI Haley truly is free and things could get interesting.

I noticed in one of the pics that there appears to be a sound engineer at the venue. I wonder if it's possible to get a direct feed from him. I bet Haley would grant permission if it is.

At first I was so disappointed that the first video you uploaded was 'Free'. My mistake...that was the finest performance of Free I have seen. The slower jazz/blues version was incredible. I think I would have dropped the camera listening to that live. She had to turn a lot of heads with that rendition...too bad people are walking right in front of you. Like the yacht club videos only she has graduated to a whole new level...beautiful. Buzz reaching for a tissue...

Thanks Tusk and Swansteel. The main reason I joined this site is to express my appreciation. I am partial to the jazzy Haley. Her interpretations are unparalleled. She doesn’t have to sing jazz standards for me to hear her jazz phrasing in her music. It is there for me always. That version of “Free” is perfection. Having said that, I’m looking forward to the jazz set especially “Summertime”. The ultimate fan prize, a Haley hug, not one but two and maybe more.

That was a pleasant surprise. She made the song not only new to us but new to her too. Haley was emoting using both her voice and body language. It was a complete performance.

The videos, so far, are fabulous! Thank you so much, Tusk! It shook me out of the doldrums (my close friend's 21 year old son passed away suddenly last week...heartbreaking). I've been ''Spring'' cleaning just to pull my mind away from sad thoughts, and when I started watching Haley, in Vegas (where we'll be in 2 weeks...2 weeks too late!), it was like sunshine to my soul!! This is a fab site and you're all fab people...and true fans of Haley's. I was also stunned about Interscope dropping her, but I have so much faith in this girl that it really didn't faze me a whole heck of a lot. She's young, and all she needs is more promotion. There's a world full of people who don't even know she exists. Just wait until they do!!! Keep the videos coming, pls! I'd like to stay on this white fluffy cloud I'm on...Walking on Heaven to Haley's amazing jazzy voice!
