I like Haley's dancing during John's solo (very nice job soloing, Johnny!) in Baby, It's You. I also got a good smile from hearing Let's Run Away. I love that song and she doesn't do it a lot.

You guys have a lot more tolerance than I do for the sound quality of these. I don't know the techical term for it but it just seems so "thin". The same sorts of amateur recordings i've heard of the Reinhart (senior) performances are usually very acceptable to me.
I LOVE live music so i'm tolerant of lots of imperfections involved but I feel like Im really missing the best part.. all of the overtones on the piano notes and haley's voice are missing and the the drum is a "splat splat splat" ..... missing the p chish pah chish I can hear if I strain.
Anyway.. I'd love to learn what it is that distinguishes one of these sort of off the cuff recordings from the other. (and I wish I could really hear the sound... as it is I can hardly listen to what I know are great covers.. ; ( I should be HAPPY but its like I had a cookie but accidently dropped it or something LOL

I agree the drums are too loud, live, on some of these, it kind of breaks the mood during the drum solo of "Let's Run Away", kind of discordant to the vibe of that song for me. Off the top of my head, Her iHeart Radio of Oh My was when the drums sounded best with Haley, not overwhelming, but kept a good sharp and distinctive rhythm/beat. Other than that, more often than not, I'm wishing the drums in her live performances were not so 'aggressive'.
Some of the audios are muffled, perhaps by accidently putting a finger or cloth over the mic. Try other vids.
That being said, I've seen much worse videos and worse audio's, I'm more than grateful we get what we've gotten so far from Okinawa.
Let's hope to see more videos from her other Asian stops
(Is it me or has she been going a more 'rock' direction in her recent performances? Maybe the full band effect makes her want to rock out more )
