For those who prefer watching Haley performing in HD untainted by comments of Randy or others, Paul fromMN (ex repad) postings are a good bet.

JLo's personality annoys me and I can't stand her phony laugh. My dislike of her isn't really based on her treatment of Haley, more on her ickiness. Now Randy is just disgusting, period. And isn't he going to be a mentor this season? Yet another reason not to watch.

Drove my wife crazy but at least she joined me for one of the four idol tour shows I attended in the summer of 2011 and joined me with upfront VIP tickets to the Arlington Racetrack Hometown performance and what was suppose to be a private Park District gathering that day at Haley's former workplace. When an Idol Logo stretch limo with a police escort drives past 500 screaming fans as it stops at the Aquatic Center no way does it stay private. That's cool Himm that you got VIP tickets to the Arlington Racetrack concert. I wanted to go, but it was cold and rainy that day and I was coming off of work, so I made the decision to stay home. Plus, I didn't have a ticket. You have been a lucky boy having up front seats to literally Everything Haley!

Watching JLo, I have always felt that maybe she is a little jealous of some of the contestants. After all, most of them can sing better than her! Remember, she started out as a dancer, not a singer. Her Wikipedia lists "recording artist" as the 7th of 8 of her "occupations".

In my mind JLo always raises questions about what she is as an entertainer. Definitely not much of a singer.

J Lo is mediocre as both a dancer & singer.
I much preferred Naima Adedapo's "On The floor"
to Jennifer Lopez's "On The Floor" even though J Lo invented it:

John, your right. JLo is an entertainer. It's amazing that she has sold 55 mill albums though. And, people are attracted to the personality and want to see her perform. Britney Spears is another one. She CAN NOT SING, yet continues to perform in sold out shows. It will be interesting to see how Britney does in Las Vegas. They said she will not lip sync in her shows.
I remember seeing Beyonce perform on stage when she released her first solo album. I was in the 5th row of a concert with my daughter, and here she comes down the stairs with the wind machine blowing her hair and all the dancers behind her. I was completely "blown away". in awe of her! haha
Bringing this back to Haley, she too, is an entertainer on stage, although in a smaller sense. On the AI tour, your eyes were drawn to her. She could dance, she could sing, and with her long curly hair was a beautiful site. And she got the loudest cheers from the audience, besides Scotty McCreery.

From what (little) I've seen of her, JLo's performances are spectacles where she is the featured focal point. Highly dependent on dancers, flesh, driving beats, props, and other stimuli for the audience. Any singing she does is shrouded in other stuff.
I recall after Haley had fallen during WIASNB, JLo made reference to her own problems at Wango Tango. I found her comments very off putting for some reason (I guess because she made it about herself rather than Haley).
I think she was referring to this mess:

LOL! That's quite the assessment, John -- are you sure you didn't hold back a bit? Mind you, I have no issue with said assessment, but ....
I agree with Swansteele, as well, regarding the phoniness of her laugh, although, to me, her persona just comes off as insincere and affected.
And Himm, I loved watching Naima dance!! The girl could move! Yes, it probably impacted her ability to sing in tune, but she was a delight to watch.

Insincere? Affected?? Hold back? I think we're of the same mind on this matter
