RE: Haley Reinhart for Extra Gum: "Can't Help Falling in Love" - InItToWinIt - 10-10-2015 The following is a translation of an article from a Mexican? publication that provides more behind the scenes information on the commercial. Morelos Habla: The story of Sarah and John, trade that is shaking the world Quote:If something has fantastic advertising is that, when well done, their ability to convey emotions transcends the goal of only selling a product Unfortunately, there is no mention of Haley or the song. RE: Haley Reinhart for Extra Gum: "Can't Help Falling in Love" - john - 10-10-2015 Any review that does not address the soundtrack is a superficial treatment IMO. ICHFIL has always been moving for many people and Haley sings it with a delicacy that brings out the emotion of the song. It is characterized as a "wordless" video, but it is not -- Haley provides the narration with words and tone. Her lullaby is intregal to the power of the story. RE: Haley Reinhart for Extra Gum: "Can't Help Falling in Love" - mercfan3 - 10-10-2015 It's gone green again on Kworb, it should jump a couple of spots. ![]() RE: Haley Reinhart for Extra Gum: "Can't Help Falling in Love" - Tusk - 10-10-2015 Hopefully when they edit it into it's 30 second components they continue to have the song credit to Haley and Ole In the lower left ![]() RE: Haley Reinhart for Extra Gum: "Can't Help Falling in Love" - Miguel - 10-10-2015 (10-10-2015, 02:01 PM)mercfan3 Wrote: I wonder if they'll put this in the superbowl? Possibly. Wrigley was a first-time Super Bowl advertiser last year. The ad was for Skittles. This probably played into their decision: Quote:Seahawks fans have taken to throwing Skittles onto the field during games, and Lynch is frequently seen eating the candy, which has created a lot of free marketing for Skittles. They didn't use him the ad though: Quote:Marshawn Lynch, who could be the world's most popular Skittles fan, is playing in the Super Bowl. But the Seattle Seahawks star won't be in the brand's Super Bowl ad. Indeed, there won't be a single celebrity in the 30-second spot, according to the brand. ^ Different ad agency might lessen the odds RE: Haley Reinhart for Extra Gum: "Can't Help Falling in Love" - john - 10-10-2015 Quote:Jada Steele @JadaSteele 10m10 minutes ago Quote:E. @ceafive 42m42 minutes ago Quote:• @cole_bakken 50m50 minutes ago Quote:Em☻̵ @EmilyWright27 1h1 hour ago Quote:magnolia @magnolia_avina 1h1 hour ago Quote:TLB-Weekly @TLB_Weekly 2h2 hours ago Quote:Sarah @sarahvmartens 2h2 hours ago Quote:chicken strip @itsnorli 2h2 hours ago Quote:nina @_cnhayden 2h2 hours ago Quote:Simple Barberaldo @Barberaldo 3h3 hours ago Santiago, Metropolitana de Santiago Quote:ⓛⓐⓝ @kolanshah 3h3 hours ago Quote:Ashley Swann @ashswann 4h4 hours ago Quote:emma @EmmaAlaina 4h4 hours ago Quote:ky mcfly @yuckfea 4h4 hours ago Quote:sehunf @lyshed 5h5 hours ago RE: Haley Reinhart for Extra Gum: "Can't Help Falling in Love" - Miguel - 10-10-2015 (10-10-2015, 02:26 PM)john Wrote: Any review that does not address the soundtrack is a superficial treatment IMO. I think I've found the original source, which does refer to the the music. Quote: The latest viral video yesterday runs through the social networks, the commercial "The Story of Sarah & John" of Extra chewing gum, not only is a job well done but that those responsible behind this project are group of four Puerto Rican and Colombian who bet on an idea that, within hours, touched millions around the world. https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.elnuevodia.com%2Fentretenimiento%2Ftv%2Fnota%2Fboricuassonlosresponsablesdenuevovideoviral-2110312%2F&edit-text=&act=url If Wrigley did the unthinkable and bought a two-minute Super Bowl spot for $18 million, it would make Haley's career. Personally, I think it would be worth it. Imagine the buzz for them the next day. Like the Apple "1984" spot, It would be talked about for decades. RE: Haley Reinhart for Extra Gum: "Can't Help Falling in Love" - mercfan3 - 10-10-2015 It would be one of the best commercials there. The only issue is it's already been seen. But, maybe not, b/c it's already airing on TV! It will probably have thousands of impressions by the Super Bowl so it seems improbable that they would pay Super Bowl money to run an ad that would be unlikely to garner any post-game hype. |
