RE: Fall Tour Dates - Tusk - 10-31-2017
Rachel suggested my next video be Listen, which was only performed in the first two shows?
Here's a screen cap of my camera angle for the song

Just a few thoughts about Haley & the Boys in SLC. But first let me say that our Haley journey was an amazingly good time. Five shows in 11 days, Phoenix, LA, Solana Beach, San Fran & SLC that 2500 miles was a joy and went by so fast. Haley is so good and ever getting better there is no limits to this lady's legacy. It was great meeting so many Haliens along the way, Tusk, Rachel & her boyfriend Tim, Avelene, Ken, Tim, Greg & Mona, Yanni and his friend, Cecilia and her friend and any others we may have missed. Haley's trip from Seattle to SLC was over 13 hours Talia (spelling probably wrong) the Merch girl, and a real sweet heart said they left Seattle after the show, drove part way into Idaho, rested, then drove on to SLC, getting there about three hours before setting up and warming up for the gig. SLC was the 7th show in 11 days and Haley looked tired when we first walked into the Meet & Greet. Our hearts went out to her, but she still displayed her consummate demeanor, loving every guest.
The opening act was terrific right up there with Mark Ballas & BC Jean, they were a local SLC 50's rhythm and blues and 60's Motown group with a full band and horn section, Joshy Soul & the Cool. Ray Moore & Haley really liked them, Haley said she wanted to put them in her back pocket and take them with her.
The Urban Lounge in SLC was sub standard compared to the other venues. It was small, old and needed to be refurbished, but the sound system was good, and the Energy of the crowd was amazing, more so than any venue we went to, even more the San Francisco.
The attendance in SLC was only about 200 people but they were electric in a good way. Haley and the band really fed off it from the first song "Better" until the final song "Lets Start." Haley said she wanted to come back to SLC "right now." It was an amazing night and a fitting ending to our journey.
So they were off in the middle of the night stopping somewhere to rest a while in Wyoming then finishing the 600 mile journey to the Denver gig early enough to set up, practice, then perform all over again. The life on the road. Give them all long distance hugs.

Thanks for the thoughts from your road trip, Airhigh. Glad to hear about the energy in SLC. While the crowd was smallish, I'm glad she is going into some new places.

Thanks for the recap of the SLC show. At 10 pm, it's 36 degrees in Minneapolis (site of Sat show).

She should make up in attendance in MN. She had said MN was the area that most requested CHFIL, followed be SF and Denver...although I saw complaints that the venue doesn't do a good job promoting shows, not only Haley's. The weather might affect attendance also
