RE: Haley's Hair - buzzenator - 01-08-2013 ^^^^^ Ok Tom, my gut stopped laughing finally...it's always about fudge distribution! That's why the fudge is on the bottom. I've never known someone that knows so much about nothing... ![]() It's hard for me to believe that Haley does not have tatts all over her body, which means she may be perceived as not being relevant by her generation. If she looked more stressed or moody, maybe she would be considered current. To be happy and content is the antithesis of today's hip singers and musicians. This probably explains why she has such a strong following from the boomers, aka HF.com. Somewhere in the middle of that you really nailed it...don't ask me where. ![]() RE: Haley's Hair - Tom22 - 01-09-2013 (01-08-2013, 11:05 PM)buzzenator Wrote: ^^^^^ Ok Tom, my gut stopped laughing finally...it's always about fudge distribution! That's why the fudge is on the bottom. I've never known someone that knows so much about nothing... lol yeah.. we (regulars on this forum) like young people who look healthy, happy and well adjusted ... .... not like some rock star (LOL) We were probably worse than the current young crowd when we were at that stage . Look at the dress and bearing of the musicians in the classic rock threads here ! And, the mantra "Sex , Drugs, and Rock and Roll" might not have been how we each lived.. but... well, ... the escapist notion was part of what music was.. kinda like we expect the actors shooting at each other in an action movie. Some of it probably has to do with having kids reaching or at that age and hoping the find a happy and healthy lifestyle to live by... being parents and all. RE: Haley's Hair - Tom22 - 01-09-2013 I'm not sure where I was going with this. I started one place and ended up at another. I was just looking carefully at ways established music stars worked out the long blondish hair thing .... and next thing you know I'm seeing all the skin shown and model quality faces and I'm thinking its a rough world. Adele managed to do it without turning into a fitness machine and Kelly Clarkson was quite fit during idol but never had to go to risque and after the first big hits had the confidence coupled with personal goals I guess (lots of people like to be fit for fitness sake... a large number of 50 year old men and women in the suburb I live in for instance) to say.. "I'm going to look the way I want even if its a few more pounds than their notion of what I should look like" . But those are the standouts... I didn't even show the semi-nude dancing of Shakira (I started with her because I thought she managed some hair in ways it has a bit of edge without being too far out there . I don't really know who she is but she looked like a friendly person. I was also wondering if fair(er) skinned girls could wear a few beaded-dread-lock-like brains without either looking crunchy granola or gangster/ghetto wannabes ... find a way to walk the line between the relating to the hip-hop funk sound and the rock and not be out of place with ballads too... there were a few that seemed to work. But.. Does a girl really want to be a rock star and deal with all this crap and people comparing you to not only top singers but also grading you on how you look in a bikini compared to others ? ... I guess that was my take away... .even at my most fit I wouldn't want to have my pictures held up next to Sylvester Stallone in rambo (i was fit when those movies came out.. but not that fit) ![]() ![]() RE: Haley's Hair - Miguel - 01-16-2013 Quote: 44m EveliseTheHairFairy Evelise @HairByEvelise Other hair talk moved here: http://haleyfans.com/showthread.php?tid=1537 RE: Haley's Hair - buzzenator - 02-03-2013 She does her own makeup...and one more thing... She inspires multitudes with her curls. ![]() ![]() RE: Haley's Hair - Himm2 - 02-03-2013 I had this in the "pics of Haley Fans" thread but I guess it's appropriate here too since these H-aliens took the time to put on Haley Wigs: ![]() RE: Haley's Hair - buzzenator - 02-10-2013 Color me Stunning... ![]() RE: Haley's Hair - Tom22 - 03-17-2013 I'm definitely liking this evolution for all the reasons I tried to express in posts above in the thread. She needs to find a grit that fits her to have the creds.. yet (especially after I made that collage and saw how blond frizz worked for the others) I don't think she should give up on this trade-mark main of her.. This one in the singapore press really does it right for me.. letting the roots get darker, eybrows a few shades darker.. tad heavier mascara ...without crossing the line to goth or wierd. RE: Haley's Hair - Miguel - 03-18-2013 I think she looks mature in that picture. It reminds me of Sheryl Crow. |
