RE: Haley in court? - Himm2 - 11-01-2012
I believe her one year apartment lease was up October 1st since that's when she moved in last year so it was probably just moving to a different apt. in LA. She has been back here a lot lately though. I can't believe she'd be be moving back in with her parents at this point in her life regardless. Maybe I should have gone trick or treating over to their house last night as a disguised detective but I know we frown on giving candy to people over the age of 5o at our house. We did have about 40 trick or treaters but none of them seemed to be from Wheeling.
You probably won't see me posting much over the next 10 days as I'll be at our timeshare next to Disney World with 12 of our family & friends. Starting the drive in 10 minutes and I hope to avoid any blood clots like I got on our drive to the west coast in July that I only made it as far as the Emergency room in the Rockies.

It's really not depressing at all. My husband and I were married at the courthouse by a judge. Our immediate family was there to witness. At our ages (me 50 and him 59) at the time, we just wanted a small intimate ceremony. This was not the first marriage for either of us due to divorce and death. I think it was the most fun the judge had had in his courtroom for a very long time (got the pics to prove it). So, sorry "Dr." Buzz, I think you got this one wrong....peace &
I think that it would be more the day than the location. My sister's first marriage occurred on Halloween. I will say that it lasted longer than anyone (but her) would have anticipated, given that they hadn't known each other long.

Ditto Halien Grandma's message/sentiment!
I realize that everyone has to draw the line somewhere, and we all have different boundaries, but I'm curious why you decided the "over 50's" shouldn't be receiving your candy
Enjoy your vacation!

It's worse for real teeth -- "fake teeth" don't get cavities! I suspect few people in their fifties, in this day and age, have "dentures." (My mother did by the time she was 16.) Crowns are a different story. As someone who's managed to break two in about six months (one of them not even two years old), I can attest to that. However, candy was not the reason that I've done that.
And yes, I know you're joking!

That's what/why I asked Himm2? It's his/their decision.
