Its not really Japan.Its part of an island chain several hundred miles south of the main islands of Japan.Its administered by Japan but its actually closer to Taiwan than Japan.Its mainly known as the last island captured from the Japanese by the Americans at the end of WW 2.If they hadn't been able to drop the atomic bomb it was supposed to have been the main staging area for the invasion of Japan.Other than that you hardly ever hear about it.

I think Haley could do "On The Good Ship Lollipop" and it would go over well at a Marine Corp base.

The reaction to Haley in The Phillipines was truly insane.I have to say that my first reaction to a gig in Okinawa on a military base had me scratching my head.

But judging from the footage of David Archuleta playing there a few years ago I don't think there will be many soldiers in the audience-but lots of Idol fans and it wouldn't be surprising to see her get the kind of reaction she got in The Phillipines which are not all that far away actually.It would be really nice if she has a full band with her though-or is that too much to hope for?

She probably wont have her band travel with her, that would be too expensive
