Haley Reinhart.... She's a world wide deal
It is. And she is.
Haley has worldwide name recognition. Fox International knows this. That's why -- given her talent and the quality of her album -- it was shortsighted for Interscope to drop her. And why another label would be smart to sign Haley. With the ability to distribute music digitally there has to be a way to profitably tap into her broad appeal.

The current statistics for Free on YT hints at some of that east Asian popularity, but it is particularly interesting that the demographics have changed. Young females now account for 2 of the 3 top spots. This is a good thing as in the past it was older. I think it shows what happens when a video gets enough views to submerge the impact of the hard core Halien viewers who tend to be older. I wonder if any of the shift represents spin off from Undone.

Recall when Free was featured on Vevo and the number of views surged. I would like to see how Undone would do with similar treatment. The surges in viewers are evident early in the graph as brief upturns in the line. Those blips show how publicity can have a dramatic affect.

Good point/observation. "Undone" has spread mostly by word of mouth. With a nice video and some promotion it might've gone viral.

She seems to have a special appeal in that part of the world too. We've seen the Idol tour videos from The Philippines and last year in Taiwan she was treated like royalty.I wouldn't be surprised if its like that in Singapore-or Okinawa. Its kind of like Haleymania.

@HaleyReinhart welcome to Singapore. My daughter just ran into you on her way to Jakarta for football game. She was so happy!
That was the first tweet Claudia had made since Aug 3, 2011.

I think she's there now! She tweeted at 12:30am central time and its a 22hr flight so she's been there for about an hour. I would go crazy if I had to be in a plane that long, but I guess that's part of music business.
RE: Haley going to Singapore - Miguel - 03-12-2013
Flight Aware says the flight took 17 hours 28 minutes.
