With the turnout they had, they might be willing to make it an annual event. Can you imagine if they did and Haley became a big star? It would be like Willie Nelson's Fourth of July Picnic.

I really love that part going into the instrumental solo parts and she goes "huh, huh, huh" like a mini James Brown. That is so funky and spontaneous that I get a big grin every time I hear it.
Actually, every time I watch the video I find some new little nuance to love. This is one of those performances where I put it on and absolutely groove to the moment while my mind is tickled with what I know is coming up. In this swan's mind it is pure musical heaven! *sighhhhhh*
Yes I love that James brown bit. I kinda wish it was longer. I hope there's a bit of scatting on the studio version and its not too overproduced. That was one the problems I had with Listen up.

I haven't praised this one enough either ! Damn this Video could go right on MTV live night(the picture part. is really almost professional Tusk.. really maybe even better for me better because I feel like i'm there dancing In the crowd

Midnight is INCREDIBLE . i've felt that before but hearing them do an original song of Haley's just makes it that much better. The Drummer and Bass player couldn't be tighter and more groving and Holy .. that keyboard player is inspired at times (I don't think we heard him as pefectly as we could.. keyboardists always get shortchanged in most live recordings professionally done even.... think their amps pointing a direction that's always tough for a mic to pick up the way it resonates in the hall) but we get a large enough taste for me to know as good as it sounds it was even more there(same with the girls their mic probably taps into where the keys are coming from ?). and I didn't mention Harry who's crazy outstanding.
I would LOVE to hear Haley tour with these guys.. might be akward of course with the parents that long and I'm guessing that the men probably have day jobs and mortgages and stuff they can't leave behind ... but wow!
I don't think I've ever seen Haley look so at home and in charge on a stage . .. so enjoyable for me to have a star take charge and entertain me like that ... make me feel welcome and eager etc (even if its on the interent) and not even be aware of that until I forced myself to think about it!
