That's true, I'm sure they'd be settling back down from their overseas flight, than to catch a flight again to NOLA... Then again, I beg to differ, it is a 'Milestone' show.... Led Zeppelin, Nirvana & Queen, three ICONIC bands in Rock and Roll history, being performed in New Orleans by their Jazz infused son, Irvin Mayfield....
You add a little Haley Reinhart Sunshine and Grit.... Don't know about you, but that's pretty damn awesome if not a Milestone
The Rock and Roll coursing through Harry's blood might find that irresistible if there was any chance he could pull it off
I hope she's the main singer this time around. Undoubtedly, Irvin will add other performers as he did in Chi and NY, to maximize interest. I hope Haley sings at least 5 songs

I had put "if they can" disclaimer in my earlier statement because I had been thinking of the Ireland trip.
But they wouldn't necessarily have to fly -- there is the train. That might not be too much less (and probably a lot of extra time).
On the other hand, they could be (aurally) envisioning what I am and will stay home.

It would be really nice if Haley had the opportunity to sing five songs. This stuff is right up her alley -- classic rock, jazz fusion. It's a smaller venue and hopefully they won't add other singers.

It just struck me how much Haley's mother looks like Piper from Charmed (now Aria's mother on Pretty Little Liars) Holly Marie Combs. Easy to see why Haley's so pretty.
Anyway..I hope we get some great videos.

No, the Hard Rock Cafe does not compare to Carnegie Hall (and the 1st time with NOJO), nor does it have the convenience of local, iconic theater. And with a trip to Ireland on the agenda it makes sense that this is a show that Harry and Patti would need to pass on. But it could be a really special show, perhaps a milestone of sorts, with Haley singing rock songs with NOJO playing. She can relax and let go in ways we might not have seen in previous appearances with NOJO.

Searching YouTube for "'irvin mayfield' nojo 'rock and roll'" didn't yield anything of note. In any case, this is a "Jazz tribute" to LZ, Queen and Nirvana. So it's probably going to be Jazz-like. Especially if there are not guitars.
edit: The opening act plays guitars and their sound is not Jazz.
