Who's to say they do a current song Stacey's Mom and Creep are decades old. Maybe Scott understands Haley's 'fit' w/ less current songs?
What if they start mining popular songs from decades past? Scott trying to publish a new cover every week, he's going to have t widen his source material

This is only the second "original" cover that Haley will be doing with PMJ. The last two were songs the group had previously covered. Haley just happened to be knocking them out of the park doing them live and Scott took the opportunity to record them under "special circumstances."

Creep is from the 80s, so it's clearly possible. When Scott asked for suggestions on FB there were a lot of requests of older songs. That totally opens the possibilities. And as Haley once said, song choice is everything (and the arrangement). The opportunity exists to kick some ass.

In listening to song possibities there are quite a few that are lame to my ears. However, when Scott does his thing it can become quite a different song. I imagine there are also quite a few "B side" type songs that he could transform into musically interesting pieces. It seems he just needs a decent scrap of melody to work with.

I think he know who butters the bread. I'm guessing iTunes, and to a lesser extent Amazon, sales are a big revenue source for PMJ.
As to the new song, "Love Me Like You Do" has been a far bigger hit than the Meghan Trainer tune, especially internationally. LMLYD reached #1 in over 40 countries while the best Future Husband did was #3 in South Africa. Another cool connection with LMLYD is that Tove Lo wrote it.

Well then, perhaps associating the message with Haley's Habits can be interpreted as an obscure clue.
