While it first seemed that she would be singing to honor Billie Holiday, this tweet does imply something with or related to the Roots in addition to that. That would be cool.

When I was on their website and was reading the press release it said the Urban Guerilla Orchestra will be the house band for the evening. The inductees were the beginning of the article so it sounded like Jimmy Fallon is going to be there to induct them in - I did not get the sense they would be playing. Still cool she is going to be there singing.

Taping for tonight's show is at 3:45 PM. Jimmy and The Roots are reported to be leaving for Philly after the taping. More likely to have comments on tomorrow night's show.

That says that he'll be in Philly AFTER the taping of The Tonight Show so I guess he'll mention it tomorrow night.
