Were the friends from out of town that Haley was expecting unable to attend and she gave "dugout club" tickets to someone she met at the stadium?

. The ending reminded me of when opera star Renee Fleming (yes, I listen to a lot of opera) sang the National Anthem at the Super Bowl a couple of years ago.
