I have done all the resizing, all the way to thumnail. The problum is that the pic is 3 MB in jpeg.The max for the pic. in Imageshack is 500KB.So the resizing doesn't do anything.I will try it one more time,and if doesn' work I'll retake the pic in RAW. I wont give up. I dont know how you feel about this. If its cool with you , maybe I can e-mail the pic. to you and see what you can come up with.

3 MB is pretty big to start with. If you can retake the picture, your camera likely has other settings you can do to reduce the file size before you take it. For example, my camera has three different settings for JPEGs.
MY understanding is the RAW format doesn't compress anything.

The image processing program I use also allows me to "export an image" at a lower quality, which will reduce the file size even more.

cool, what is the url adress for this forum?
Also I will try another setting in jpeg which Ill have to start over again. I have a Canon- EOS 7D, it has lots of cool thing as far as settings. As far as the lower quality goes the original pic has a lot of grain in it to start with, so ill change the ISO setttings. Thanks for your help.

Your camera apparently has an 18 MB sensor, which is huge. As a result, your file sizes are bigger. One thing you might try after taking a photo is cropping out any extraneous background to create a smaller overall image.

I'll tell you what i did ,maybe you can do something with it.If you notice on the video with Mayfield there are people takeing pics. So that light's up the stage and you can see all the backgrounds. Haleys face the.the musicians and Irven.So what i did was find the place where the flash is and than stop the video, and take a pic of it on the puter screen.You have to do a lot of searching around, and follow the little curser on the bottom of the screen, It takes time , but it can be done. Around 7.09 and i think 9.56, there about 5 pics that you can take, and you can see Haleys face. She is really gitting into her singing. If you want to try it go for it. Don't use a flash caust it will show a bad reflection on the screen Good luck

OK i'll give it a shot,But I have one more creative alternative.If thats doesn't work i'll rework the pic on photo shop and sell them on e-bay lol . Thanks for the help
