Ideally Haley remains an artist and if riches come her way early she says to herself, "I have more than I ever dreamed so now I'm "free" to be the artist I always wanted to be.

She has indicated a part of her 'future' partly re-enforced by Tony Bennett. Her next 'big' goal is to make an album with her family on it, probably after she's somewhat established and made more connections in the industry.

The bigger question is, "Does the desire to be respected as an artist early on give you more integrity later?" Is that desire something you don't lose?
For example,
J-Lo is considered a great entertainer but not a great singer. At this point in her career, people marvel at how good she looks for her age and how she can shake her booty.
Steven Tyler is generally considered a great entertainer and singer. He may not have all the vocal abilities he once did (see nat'l anthem), but it's clear he thinks of himself as a singer and he appreciates the effort, skill and artistry of other singers.
From my biased perspective, last year when it came to judging it seemed J-Lo was willing to sell out her integrity to the people who were paying her and Steven was not.

We all envision her album is going to be a smash and she's going to go on tour. Somewhere down the line though, she'll have the chance to take a breath and ask, "What next?" I'm curious as to what that might be.
She has spoke before of doing a jazz album at some point. But I don't think that's what will be next.

I imagine there might be modeling and TV appearances that'll be hard to turn down. That's not even including the summer tour.... I have a feeling she will busy with just this stage of the game for up to two years.
