RE: Mediabase Requests - buzzenator - 04-16-2012 Thanks John for all the work and spreadsheet. I just sent my first e-mail request for Free. RE: Mediabase Requests - Miguel - 04-16-2012 Quote:47 HALEY REINHART "Free" AUD = weekly audience in millions RE: Mediabase Requests - Miguel - 04-16-2012 chessguy99 says: "As far as stations goes, there are 92 stations on the HAC published chart. Free is on 28 stations, a very good start. Get that number over 60, and Interscope may consider pushing the song to other formats." RE: Mediabase Requests - John Brown - 04-16-2012 Mediabase Update: Mar 26-Apr 1 This appears to be the week the third place finishers roared. Casey James who finished third on the beleaguered 9th season of Idol has achieved his first top 20 on Country. “Let’s Don’t Call it a Night” has had a long crawl to this position, but it has become the most successful radio hit from that season. It’s the debut single off of his debut album. Also hitting top 20 this week for the first time on US radio, is Canadian Idol 3rd place finisher Carly Rae Jepsen. “Call Me Maybe” has been a hit in her home country for a while, but this is her first foray into the American market. The song achieved top 20 on Pop and top 40 on HAC this week. Another top 40 on HAC was achieved by Carrie Underwood. Her debut single from her fourth album appears to be crossing over because it’s getting an add date for that format. The song also went top 50 on AC. Haley Reinhart who finished third from Season 10 also made in-roads on HAC. Her debut single, “Free”, from her debut album achieved top 50 in that format. She had previously charted on AC for a Christmas duet with Casey A, but this is her first solo charting song. This means that the entire top 4 from Season 10 has now charted as solo artists. Mandisa returns to the top 40 on CAC and Lauren to the top 30 on country. Stats collected on Sunday evening. http://www.mjsbigblog.com/monday-morning-mediabase-update-mar-26-apr-1-2.htm RE: Mediabase Requests - Miguel - 06-02-2012 polev made this post today: Quote:I’d like to share with you a plan for helping Haley with spincrease and see if I can get some of you on board because I cannot implement it by myself. So far many of us focused on larger markets (because of larger AI), but after examining the addboard for various artists, it became apparent that larger market stations begin adding songs of new artists much later in the process, often after the song reaches top 20-25 (unless these new artists have huge sales or high spins on the CHR/POP format). The other day he also suggested: Quote:We've got the first spin on Sirius XM. Even though it is a satellite radio, it is still considered as a monitored and published HAC station. Spins do not give the audience impression, but they count towards the published chart. It would be nice if Free got played there, because usually they give large number of spins. RE: Mediabase Requests - Miguel - 06-03-2012 imkh: Quote:Rolling 7 day charts for May 27 - June 2 polev: Quote:To all this excitement of Haley being in the top 30 in the weekly published chart, I would add that Houston gave 11 spins last week and thus will be officially adding Free on Monday. RE: Mediabase Requests - Flask Man - 06-04-2012 KHMX-FM in Houston officially added Free this morning. Good news: Free is up to #28 on HAC today; it's highest rank so far! Bad news: She lost two spins from yesterday, and if she doesn't get kick-started again with spincrease she's gonna get passed by the hard charging Alanis, Usher and Kelly in the coming days. Maybe Kris, too. RE: Mediabase Requests - Miguel - 06-04-2012 (06-04-2012, 07:09 AM)Flask Man Wrote: Good news: Free is up to #28 on HAC today; it's highest rank so far! The past week I've noticed may tweets from people saying how much they like "Free" or that they're listening to it via some online service. I assume these are from people who've heard it on the radio recently for the first time. If they could build the size of the radio audience, "Free" would do as well as they hoped when they chose it for the first single. RE: Mediabase Requests - Mr. Bill - 06-04-2012 So here is the not-so-good news: I signed up to "Rate the Music" for Sirius XM Pulse, and today I got my first music poll. I was asked to rate 30 songs, and they included "The Vision of Love" by Kris Allen. They did NOT include Haley's "Free." In fact, they included a lot of the Hot AC Top 30 songs, just not Haley's. It did give a chance to answer a few questions about why we are or aren't listening to The Pulse more or less recently, so I did write, "I'm not. About the same as usual. In the last week I've been listening to see if you'll play the new Haley Reinhart song I'm addicted to, but you haven't been playing it much." Hopefully someone will read that and it'll make even a slight difference? RE: Mediabase Requests - Flask Man - 06-04-2012 Better news: Haley got 4 HAC adds today for "Free". Good to see that there's still some chug left in her "Little Single That Could". She's gonna need it, because some "Huge Singles That Will" are coming up fast. |
