How I would looooooooove to own a DVD of the entire BGD concert. Is it possible this could happen down the road? This was a show to savor over and over and over, the best concert I have seen in years!! I have just about worn a hole in the My Cake video, which just so happens to be my favoritest thing in the whole world right now. Every video of each song so far has been like a mental balm to me. I need this for my mental well being, for Pete's sake!

Peter Spero has promised video from the stage, which I'm hoping we can use more of. I videod 5 songs with my camera (Beautiful. Wasted Tears, Better, My Cake and WIAWSNB) so those I could think about making some edits from two points of view. A stage view would make it three points of view I can take from
... So Maybe I put a project together to fashion something. I might have to get a blu ray burner since DVD's don't really hold enough memory for these HD formats
The DVD's I've been sending for keepsakes to the Reinharts are not "HD" by any means, then again the look has a little to do with my lower grade video handicam files.
I hope his videos are good
As far as distribution, that could be sticky wickets. I can't afford to start sending them out for free, especially if there are lots of requests, and I really don't have the will to look into copyright and distribution laws or buy a business license or whatever, in order to collect money even just for materials and shipping....
I guess I could offer it to Haley and fam and let them figure if they can or want to distribute it. That seems the most efficient and 'right' thing to do
BTW "My Cake" is already headed to 3500 views since being put on Haley's facebook page.... I hope "Better" follows soon, they are a great 'one-two' punch
Can I just say..... how bad a$$ is this??
I wish I'd video'd more from my camera, this angle really catches a lot of atmosphere ....

Miguel. A question for the Questioner. Until we all can get Tusk's Jumbo Deluxe Bluray version of the BDG Concert would it be feasible to put all the videos from the BDG Concert together in the Performance thread? It could be titled BDG Concert and have all the videos together in one place for easy access. Just think how easy and enjoyable that would be for me.

^^ Wow. Haley was killing those songs she did on Idol. Great stuff. Thanks Tusk. After watching a bunch of these high quality videos I'm realizing how different this show was. A full set on the big stage with a full band behind her. Maybe it's the quality of the videos, but it seems so much more than Lollapalooza last year. The return of the Slayer. Bravo! Encore!

I'm really glad to have upgraded my camera, I was unsatisfied with the results from my handicam, the first time I used it in Lollapalooza.
THF's camera is the best overall, though...
They were MUCH better prepared for this show than Lollapalooza. At Lollapalooza, the drummer never played with them before or since... Compared to Midnight?

This show was VERY different from anything Haley has done before. This was the first time she seemed totally at ease with an experienced band of musicians. As I've written before, as a whole this set had a real flow and consistency to it that made it feel more like a real concert and less like a grouping of strung together songs. This show was also the first one that made me want to dance through the whole thing. Every song was dance-worthy, even all the songs from Listen Up!, which, while they are all terrific songs, never really made my feel like swinging my tush.
