I'm probably jumping on the bandwagon but TBH I don't hear any strain at all.It sounds so natural and its a good example of all the things that she has at her command when it comes to her voice-colors,nuances,etc.And the inspiration may come from CBR but its all HR to me.

Listening to 'Soul on Fire'...
A big difference from acoustic version of 'Let Yourself Be Beautiful' and the significant studio production in SOF. It makes me wonder how SOF did not make her debut album. Maybe it is being held for her 2nd album, because it is one powerful song. I love how effortlessly she hits those highs in the chorus. So many different layers with the background singing, which Haley had to be a part of. Great song.

Both songs are inspirational, just two different genres...for the young women with low self esteem LYBB hits the mark. For those who are driven to achieve greatness SOF could be their anthem. Apples & oranges really but they're both still fruit

Of course, it would have be in yet another genre. That is the beauty of Haley's voice, she is mostly genre non specific but still brings cohesion to her music...

personally, I really like "Follow My Heart" that was unreleased. I wish we could hear the entire song but here is the snippet from Soundcloud. It sounds very Beetle-ish to me. I think this could have been a big hit.
