Quote:Skilled actor and comedian David Koechner, who rose to fame with roles in the comedy genre, including the ‘Anchorman’ films and the NBC television series ‘The Office'...
Besides ‘Krampus,’ do you have any other upcoming projects lined up that you can discuss?
I have a semi-recurring role on ‘American Dad!’ But the big project is Bill Burr’s ‘F Is for Family.' I don’t know if I’ve ever laughed so hard in a recording booth as I did when we were recording this show.

Great review, Haley is lauded on her vocal work

"F Is for Family is entertainingly honest."
"...the first season is a tight six-episode chronicle of the minor and major cataclysms impacting the Murphy clan over a single fall — setbacks and triumphs which, in isolation, are the stuff of standard family sitcoms, but which gain heft as they pile up and as continuity leads to real emotional payoffs by the end. "
If they're able to get the audience emotionally involved with these cartoon characters, they'll have a winner.
Variety not as kind:
Quote:The underlying idea behind “F Is for Family,” Netflix’s latest animated comedy, is more appealing than the execution, which winds up feeling like a poor man’s cross between “King of the Hill” and “Mad Men.”...The semi-serialized six-episode run has a dark, bittersweet quality, but despite some clever moments, “F” generally merits no more than a “B.”
...in part because the series lacks a consistently strong point of view. Instead, the perspective keeps shifting, often to Frank, when the more natural structure — certainly in terms of nostalgia — would be to more steadfastly see the gruffness of this Ralph Kramden-type character through the eyes of his children.
...It is, happily, only a six-episode commitment, and Redbone’s “Come and Get Your Love” (released in ’73) certainly sets the mood over the opening titles.
Ultimately, though, the current wave of nostalgia has raised the bar for this sort of exercise, while blunting the comedic impact that might flow from plumbing the less enlightened aspects of Nixon-administration America. So while the show is likely to evoke twinges of recognition — especially among those who saw “Star Wars” in a theater — to borrow the parlance of the times, it isn’t as fully actualized as it could have been.

It sounds like Haley's Bill gets will be the most emphathic character.

Quote:DreamWorks Animation won’t be limited by its name. The Glendale, California, cartoon studio is launching a live-action television division and has tapped veteran TV executive Katie O’Connell Marsh to run it.
...Marsh previously served as CEO of Gaumont International Television, building the division with programming such as “Hannibal” for NBC and “Narcos,” “Hemlock Grove” and the upcoming “F Is for Family” for Netflix.
