You did great! As much as Haley being on DWTS would've been cool, I was worried that it might've meant you (and others) would miss the chance to hear her live, something you've been hoping for so long....I was torn, but I admit that If it was a choice, I'd rather pick Haley making the show in Baltimore....thank goodness it all worked out Smile

Great recap Lauraliz! Always nice to hear how things went at the show. And nice surprise from you brother. Wink I heard someone's clip of Burn and Sara seemed to handle the vocals quite well. I really like her voice.

lauraliz, I just love long recaps with all the details, personal impressions and all the adventures. Great reading! Thanks so much for taking the time!

I can completely relate to any awkwardness in the situation, one doesn't want to impose in any way, time is short, they have busy schedules, fans who come one after the other ... but it really sounds like you did great and had a good time at the meeting - I totally agree with Tusk, that is a very nice picture! (We should be glad we get the chance - if she gets more well-known those days may numbered.)

Lol, I know how that feels, the rush of excitement, and then it is over, but things happened, it is not like before. A thrill to have! I must say, the thing I long most for when thinking back, next to the sheer joy of being in the music, is that no recording, however perfect, ever matches the experience, the reality of Haley singing live.

This could not be said enough... there is nothing that compares to hearing all the textures, all the musical choices and the spontaneity of a live Haley Reinhart performance.

I might add... The post show depression is all too real, but well worth it for the experience Heart
