RE: Haley in "F IS FOR FAMILY" - Miguel - 12-15-2015 The New York Times checks in: Quote:At first, all that sets “F Is for Family” apart from its analogues is the rawness of the content. Few cable or streaming shows have applied their liberties to family sitcoms, and it lends a certain verisimilitude to arguments between a beer-drinking dad and a rebellious teenager. As you may have guessed, the “F” is not in fact only for “Family.” Ending to article: Quote:Though Frank is the show’s center, its real point-of-view character seems to be his youngest son. Bill (Haley Reinhart of “American Idol”), a wide-eyed 11-year-old with a bowl cut who, like a good ’70s kid, lives through a lot of inappropriate moments, including a disgusting and hilarious unchaperoned visit to the men’s bathroom at a minor-league football game. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/16/arts/television/f-for-family-review-netflix-bill-burr.html?_r=0 RE: Haley in "F IS FOR FAMILY" - rmd1064 - 12-15-2015 Wow...this show could be a big hit. Every review (but one which was middling) has had high praise for it and many are mentioning Haley as a key in the show. The fact that the New York Times is reviewing it too! And the article gives Haley such props as voicing the key point of view of the show. I bet she does a lot of voice over narration, talking about the young Bill's experiences. What is cool is I was about the same age as Bill in 1973, so this show should all ring true. And Bill's Dad reminds me of my Dad--Irish Catholic, drinker, smoker...lol... Can't wait to see this... And as for Haley--Damn! You Go Girl! What can't you do? ![]() RE: Haley in "F IS FOR FAMILY" - mercfan3 - 12-15-2015 Really...I can definitely see Haley becoming the musical version of Mila Kunis. (Stared in 70s show as a teen, then got a voice over role in Family Guy..and now she's A list.) RE: Haley in "F IS FOR FAMILY" - Miguel - 12-15-2015 Article about The Family Guy family voice cast from 2013: Quote:The four members of the voice cast, excluding creator Seth MacFarlane, were able to secure between $175,000 and $225,000 each per episode for at least two more seasons — and as many as five seasons of the series. I don't know how the pay scale is structured when there are no advertisers. Though I guess it would be less. Quote:. Though the Sunday night comedy no longer ranks among the top 10 most lucrative series for ad revenue, it is still believed to command upward of $250,000 per 30-second spot. What's more, it delivers a coveted younger-skewing male audience to Fox http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/family-guy-voice-actors-score-657429 RE: Haley in "F IS FOR FAMILY" - InItToWinIt - 12-15-2015 I think the question about whether there might be a season 2 of FIFF has about been answered. Metacitic: F is for Family ![]() ![]() RE: Haley in "F IS FOR FAMILY" - Miguel - 12-15-2015 Tonight: Quote:The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon In my make-believe world, Bill mentions Haley and Jimmy interjects that he met Haley just last month. Then Sheryl Crow informs them she was impressed with Haley when she mentored her on Idol. I still can't believe this is all for real. He posted pictures of three billboards. The industry is talking to itself. The attention must be gratifying: Quote:Here's an interview I did with The Toronto Sun about our show. This is fun! Quote:Very nice review of our show from The New York Times! Crazy! RE: Haley in "F IS FOR FAMILY" - Miguel - 12-15-2015 Bill didn't pimp the show much on Fallon. They showed a clip, but it featured Burr and Justin Long's character. RE: Haley in "F IS FOR FAMILY" - Himm2 - 12-16-2015 (12-15-2015, 11:23 PM)Miguel Wrote: Bill didn't pimp the show much on Fallon. Woulda been nice if Jimmy Fallon could have kept Bill Burr under control instead of letting Bill just doing a continuous stand up comedy act. 5 minutes of running jokes and 5 seconds about F is For Family. |
