I like Alex a quite a bit. He's my WGWG winner. He makes good choices and executes. I think he can be a fine entertainer, although I don't know if "Idol" fits.
I like Jessica a lot -- voice, look and personality. I'm hoping she has a break out performance, which she is capable of.
^^ My favs at this point.
Jena seems to have really blossomed and has had "almost moments" on the stage. But what others seem to like in her voice I find annoying at times.
Caleb has voice, but for me he has to bring something different to some of his performances or it's becomes meh. Like the rest of these folks he needs to do something more than what he has always done.
I guess they see Sam as a developmental guy. He has a nice voice, but I don't see him being ready to take the next step.
Malaya seems hot and cold. She's young and not quite ready for prime time.
CJ and Dexter? Time to go (then Sam).

Jessica is doing "Call Me" by Blondie - didn't work to well for Haley with the voters...I guess we'll see! I think there's been a cover of a Haley cover every week this season!!

I just want to say that I'm enjoying the show as much as most seasons.... now that the sound mixing/band arrangements and "tune-ups" in approach and preparation seem to be a thing of the past.
My memory is of groups of contestants with lots of uninspired singers that I needed to listen to for weeks. The talent for me has been quite solid and even as people knock CJ's ability to sing in pitch ...(which has been atrocious on the live shows) at least, assuming that he is the bottom of the barrel in so many peoples eyes... he has some interesting things about him and does have a special voice and ability to hold notes (out of key)
I think people who like ballads are most dissapointed though. No matter how well a ballad is sung.. they do get boring for me without some personality ... usually for me a youthful innocence, I find touching to watch (even if not necessarily true to life experience). Again, that's just because I don't particularly like ballads so a show with contestants 3 or 4 years into their 20's without a charming (to me) naivity is going to lose me.
Anyway, that's maybe a reason I find this seasons contestants pretty darn solid and interesting the last 2 weeks.

Jessica has been like teflon in this competition though. Her and Caleb are the only two people who haven't been in the bottom 3..and as we lose one of the 'Bama boys (which..please..) she's going to get even more votes.

Did anyone else think that Harry was drunk or on drugs tonight? He was acting unusually strange and Ryan seemed to be embarrased at times.

^Right on Lisa...Harry forgot to take his meds tonight. The guy is losing it...he's becoming a white, more articulate version of Randy.
