A "couple of tunes" is better than no tunes at all I say! At least she'll be getting more exposure. Is it my imagination, or does Haley seem a whole lot busier post Interscope?
Maybe since it's such a brief set for Haley, that's why John won't be there.

"Couple tunes" might just be a casual use of language. The event runs 4 hours and one of the sponsors/organizers just tweeted about Haley's "Angelic Voice" to tout it.
I'd feel better if John were there. I'm a little uncomfortable with Haley performing in public with someone she may not be familiar with.

Good point Miguel, especially with all the back and forth traveling as of late,

If it is just a couple of tunes it could be a casually arranged charity freebie that John wouldn't get paid for if he did come. Perhaps a Chiara connection.

I agree, John. I'd also say that working with a variety of accompanists is good for her as well. It's not that uncommon in the music world, to be working with different people frequently, and it keeps one "on one's toes" so to speak. That's not necessarily a bad thing.
I get a chuckle out of the phrase "Haley's angelic voice." Yes, there are times when her voice seems angelic. However, the person who made that remark has either forgotten or not heard Haley's signature growl.

In fact it very common to work with other musicians. They all have something to bring to the table. Ya learn a lot that way and you don't stay stagnant
