Good idea now we all have gotten that off our chest I guess. Thanks for letting us vent a bit and then stearing us in the right direction Miguel. We need to concentrate and focus on the postive - just like "our girl" Haley does!!

I really don't go to MJs on a regular basis, hadn't been there for months. So I ventured over there after her Real Music Live performance...surprise, surprise, it ends up to be the same old, same old comment section. I got tired of hearing from all these wannabe critics that supposedly had a much clearer perspective on music than the rest of us.
We have seen this attitude before...someone who has a blog that used to be on this forum. I like Haley but (I always picture Randy Jackson when I hear that)...she needs to do this or that. Then we often get the fake intellectual disclaimer, "well, I'm not just some mindless fan". They're too sophisticated to really be a fan of anyone...Buzz mimicking the Haley vomit scene while listening to Randy's critique

By it's very nature the Internet will have lots of dead wrong stupid things on it and every discussion forum that's generally open for discussion will have a lot of negative and "trolling" things (posts to taunt or get other poster's upset, often sublelty enough not to break most forums rules).
I can enjoy threads with 90% crappy posts and 10% interesting and accurate posts...that's what the internet is about and smart people screen signal from noise. Also, and maybe I'm painting this in a personal way, I think there is something self assured about feeling sorry for people who insult me rather than feeling offended. Only when people that I respect criticize me unfairly do I get hurt, and try to right their opinion if I think they misunderstood or didn't know the full picture.
Long and short... everyone at least knows there are idiots on the internet and expects someone to say something stupid, and I think most are accustomed to ignoring idiots.
