Babbs that is 100% correct. I had always googled to find out my Haley info, and it often led me to this great site, (Thanks Miguel!), but every time I tried to join, registration was closed. Then the first stageit gig happened, and here were all these people chatting online and I felt like I almost already knew them just from visiting the site and seeing all the posts and great vids and pictures. You recommended that I should join the site, (yes, you can all blame Babbs), and Miguel re-opened registration, and that was that.

Hey Tusk, great work on that anniversary banner, sunset on the beach, margaritas, and Haley singing beautiful music, perfect!

I did come to haleyfans after Haley’s first Stageit show. I followed Haley’s adventures initially through IDF. I think I was linked to haleyfans from IDF so I then divided my time between the two forums. Haleyfans seemed more of a family and much more amiable than at IDF so then I spent all of my time lurking here. I enjoyed all the lovely comments about Haley and the Haley news and updates gathered by the members. I marveled, and still do, at the time and effort it took to acquire the information and some of it was quite extraordinary like finding out where Haley was staying from just a picture. And the additional work and organization by Miguel to operate the site as well as making sure everything ran smoothly made me feel guilty that I didn’t at least say thanks.

Coming in second behind Swansteel in the Stageit prizes gave me the chance to join and contribute something but more importantly to say thanks. I know I haven’t posted a lot but believe me the kindness shown by haleyfans and our mutual love of Haley’s music made me post far more than I ever thought I would since I am more comfortable being a lurker.
