The show is part of the fun, the "journey" is a major part of it, the conversations you have, the people you meet, the connections you make.
It's kind of ironic, back when I was studying to get into 3d animation, my teachers couldn't emphasize enough, how important "networking" is. Getting out there, meeting people, building a reputation in the field. At that time, it was a low time in my life, I was far from motivated to go out and meet strangers, I could care less, just wanted to finish my part and be done with it
Since Haley's Journey took me along for the ride, awakening my creativity, dormant for 2 decades, riding her wake, my life and attitude have made a complete 180! It all feeds on itself, the more I give into the paths that open up in front of me, the more I'm energized. Not only do I get to support people who I believe in, I also get something out of it, creativity, friendships, connections and experiences. It encourages me to do more, the more I get to contribute, the more potential opportunities open up. A little over 2 years ago, it dawned on me I was actually networking without realising it lol.
When you stay within yourself, you project your negative attitudes onto others. The same is true for a positive attitude, people gravitate to it. Those who've known me 'from the beginning' have seen times where my old attitude might flare up. I still have occasional lapses, but reminding myself of Haley's philosophy of not sweating the negative, focussing on the positives, progressing, helps me control my attitude better. I think how does being like this help Haley? I'm only human, I try and fail sometimes, but reminding myself to try to keep it positive helps Haley much more, as well as it also helps me.
Honestly, I thought with Haley's career finally taking HUGE steps up, perhaps 2016 will see my own personal journey with Haley might start winding down :/. Now that we're on the back half of 2016, I'm glad to see there was enough gas in the tank to get me through another year
. I honestly dread to think what my life would be like without the rewarding positivity I get back from my activities, I know nothing lasts forever, I'm just glad it hasn't ended yet

Idyllwild Jazz might consider using the video, so I went ahead and added their logo above Haley and Casey's Watermarks in the lower right corner of the vid (you can see it in the Song for my Father clip I posted)... I've tweeted Casey a few times, he's on his way to Australia soon, so probably busy, so as soon as I get Ira's video and incorporate into mine, I'll start posting them
