While we're waiting for this fantastic cover to - perhaps - appear, it is worth pointing out the last and sadly final album by The Cranberries, "In the End", came out just two weeks or so ago and is excellent. After Dolores O'Riordan's unfortunate death the band made the album with the demos of her voice that already existed and I am glad they did. Just as Haley turns there ... strange how things sometimes coincide, but as we know, always for a reason ... The album is charting in several European countries, I am not sure about the US.

Apparently the full song is now available on Spotify..... but not in the US

"Dreams" is a song that I've been familiar with for as long as I can remember (Becky, was it on the You've Got Mail soundtrack that I used to dance to?), and this cover is gorgeous and stirring. I love Haley Reinhart so freakin much and I'm glad she did this legendary song so much justice.

We should appreciate Haley's accomplishment here. She was basically commissioned to come into a studio for one day and record to someone's arrangement of the song. She was working with people she had just met who were looking to capture a certain feeling and and possibly timing for commercial purposes. That's challenging enough without recording a full song. No wonder they were happy with the result.
I do wonder if they intended to record a full version all along or whether that was a "demand" on the part of Haley and her team.
